Alberta Tourism, Parks, and Recreation is seeking contract operators for the following provincial parks and recreation areas. Contract operators are responsible for the day to day operational tasks associated with these facilities including janitorial, landscape maintenance, visitor information, fee collection and basic security.

A mandatory site information session for the Waskahigan operations will be held on Nov. 24th, 2009 at the Waskahigan River PRA at 11:00 am local time.
A mandatory site information session for the Winagami Lake operations will be held on Nov. 24th, 2009 at the Winagami Lake Prov. Park at 2:00 pm local time.
These site visits are pre-requisites to submitting proposals. Failure to attend will disqualify the proposal.
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM local time, DECEMBER 4, 2009. Late proposals will not be accepted.
All documents submitted are subject to FOIP (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act).
The Minister reserves the right to reject any or all the Proposals and to waive irregularities and formalities at his discretion. The lowest cost Proposal will not necessarily be accepted.

Alberta Parks is prepared to receive sealed tenders for firewood to each of the above Parks plus proposals for firewood concessions at Queen Elizabeth, Hilliard's Bay, Saskatoon Island and Moonshine Lake Provincial Parks.

It is recommended that interested proponents view the sites prior to the site information meeting. Attendance at the site information meeting is mandatory. Failure to attend may disqualify your proposal.

A site Information Session will be held for prospective bidders on Tuesday, Nov. 24/09 at Waskahigan River PRA at 12:00 Noon. All bidders who are submitting a tender are required to attend the mandatory session. Failure to attend will disqualify your bid. Winagami Lake Prov. Park requires separate maintenance contracts for liquid waste removal, potable water delivery, solid waste removal, building & facility cleaning and landscape maintenance services. Separate site Information sessions will be held for all prospective bidders over 3 days beginning on Monday, Nov. 23/09 at 10:00 AM. All bidders who are submitting a tender are required to attend the mandatory session. Failure to attend will disqualify your bid.
