Parkland Natural Region

"Watchable Wildlife" site (fascinating variety of waterfowl); from the comfort of their campsites, visitors can watch the graceful flight of geese on their late summer migration south; in the campground, undergrowth provides protection from wind, while large trees create a cool, shady picnic area; open year-round, snow conditions permitting (access/internal roads not plowed); limited facilities & services provided September 16 to May 14.
