Rocky Mountain Natural Region

This recreation area is located on the northeastern boundary of Whitehorse Wildland Park. It provides basic camping facilities as well as corrals, hitching rails and loading ramps for equestrian users; 8 camping units equipped with corrals; site also provides access to the unmaintained hiking/equestrian trail to Miette Hotsprings, located in Jasper National Park. If you are planning to travel overnight into Jasper, a permit from the Jasper trails office at 780-852-6177 is required.
Whitehorse Creek Prov. Recreation Area campground is accessible from Cadomin (no winter maintenance). The Grave Flats Road (also known as the Cardinal River Road) through the Cardinal Divide in Whitehorse Wildland Park is open during the summer months. Information on the adjacent Cheviot Mines project is available at 1-866-306-9886.
