In Alberta's provincial parks and protected areas camping fees are established by the department and may be subject to change. Each site's fees are based on market demand and the services available at that site. Below is a chart on the range of fees possible for each service.
Fees include federal Goods and Services Tax (GST). (There are no fees for day use facilities)

| Basic campsite | $5.00 - $22.00/night Base rate established by department/facility operator based upon market conditions, plus additional services. |

| Backcountry Camping at sites such as Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, Ribbon Creek PRA (Kananaskis Country) |
$10.00/person/night (children under 16yrs. of age free of charge) |
| Group Area Camping | Base rate of $50.00/night plus a per night fee of up to the regular overnight camping fee for the park or recreation area within which the group camping is located multiplied by the number of camping units (5 units minimum). |
| Group Area Day Use | $50.00 - $85.00/day |

| Individual and Group Area Camping | $10.00 per reservation plus a deposit equal to the first night's applicable camping fee. |
| Group Day Use Area | $10.00 per reservation plus a deposit equal to the first day's use fee. |
